The Ethnography Department deals with material culture of Kashubaian Goch people (nowadays Lipnica district). Despite the strong germanization in 18th and 19th century, Goch people survived in the east and north parts of Człuchów near the former historical boarder.
The ethnographical exhibition presents the relics of food preparation materials, working of silk and wood, land cultivation, cattle-breeding, furniture and home utensils.
Worth seeing are decorating butter moulds, churns, chests, spinning-wheels and dowry chests.The department collects works of modern folk art and the exhibits of material culture emmigrants arrived to Człuchów after 1945.
